Vircell participates in BRUCELLOSIS 2011
5th International Research Conference held in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Last September, from Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd, Vircell had the honour of participating in the commercial exhibition of the 5th International Conference, BRUCELLOSIS 2011, held in the auditorium of the Catholic University of Argentina in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires.
Dr. José Rojas, Vircell R&D Director, has attended this interesting event that has extensively integrated multidisciplinary latest developments in various fields from the basic biology of Brucella, genomics, epidemiology, pathogenesis, immunology, new diagnostics and disease prevention. World’s leading experts in medicine, veterinary, research and public health officials have also attended this edition, and have provided an integrated view, discussing new strategies to address the problems associated with the disease.
As in previous editions, this international conference has been very successful in participation, with more than 300 attendees from the five continents. 9 plenary sessions, 2 round tables with participation of 10 experts from different countries, and several sessions for brief oral or poster presentations have been held during BRUCELLOSIS 2011.
