In January 2019 Cristina Sánchez joined the Vircell S.L.U team as an Applications Specialist. Her role is to provide pre- and post-sales support to laboratories and hospitals in Spain.

Cristina has 7 years of experience occupying a similar position in Menarini Diagnostics. She was taking responsibility for different aspects in the immunology line such as installations, trainings and demonstrations where reagents and instrumentation for chemiluminescence, ELISA, IFI and BLOT techniques were the main feature. In addition, she has conducted national studies such as the monitoring of biological drugs and also the development, validation and installation of the associated middleware, which entails the connections with LIS and the configuration of the results in accordance with each center. She is specialized in the attention, monitoring and resolution of incidents via VPN remote connection.

After studying Biology at the University of Barcelona, she completed a Master's Degree in Biomedical Research at the Pompeu Fabra University, which allowed her to do the thesis in the Digestive Unit of the Germans Trias i Pujol Institute based on mice with induced colitis by DSS as an animal model.
