Sergi Gordillo joined the staff of Vircell Spain, S.L.U. in early 2015 with more than 10 years’ experience at a company in the same sector. As Product Manager, he develops activities for different product lines, a role he has occupied for over 8 years. Prior to that, he held a position as an Application Specialist for two years.

Sergi received a degree in Biology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and later studied DEA and Research Proficiency at the University Hospital Germans Trias y Pujol (Teaching unit of the Autonomous University of Barcelona).

His doctoral thesis was developed at the Department of Experimental Tuberculosis University Hospital Germans Trias y Pujol. In 2004, he completed his doctoral studies in the program of Clinical Microbiology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, obtaining the title of Doctor of Clinical Microbiology.
